did anyone else go to this show last night?
there was maybe 25-30 people there, and all I can say is....."ummmm,wow???"
is he back on drugs again or did he just have a really bad night??

either way, it was a very interesting, umm, show...

Anyone following him on Twitter can see that it's obvious he's been on a serious bender. He posts manically and all night long. Hanging out with Harrison Ford's trust fund son, who is half his age and not seemingly very talented. It's pretty pathetic. It doesn't seem like it will end well for our boy. Sad....

Can't see anything pathetic in what you're saying, Cobain.

Merry christmas everyone!

Maybe it's a little jealousy because I also used to live that lifestyle. Partying way too much. I still love him but a sober Evan is much more inspiring.
Merry Christmas to you Francisco, and everyone else!

My god that was Harrison Ford's son?? I felt sorry for that kid, he looked so lost and disheveled on stage trying to play & sing and help Evan out. Evan yelled at him at one point during the show about not having something plugged in or something like that....wow what a fucking mess those guys are.

I just took a quick look at Evan's twitter page, does he tweet every thought he has like every 30 seconds or what??
Hopefully he can get some help soon cause he was a complete mess.

Who knows the whole situation? Once or twice a month I get absolutely fucked up. To the outsider who only saw me that one time, they'd think I need to be committed. :D

Not cool to be gunned when people pay to see you though, if that's what happened in this case.

that was the strange part...he brought 2 beers on stage, but didn't drink either of them...he didn't look too fucked up...I guess he just didn't really seem to want to be there. I'm not sure what he was expecting at a tiny bar on a Sunday night 3 days before x-mas.

I told a friend it seemed more like an impromptu rehearsal in his garage than an actual show. he would start songs & then stop in the middle...forgetting words to other songs, walking off the stage at one point...just really bizarre stuff.

anyway, I wasn't pissed about the show or anything....it was just a really strange experience. I love his music & just hope he's doing okay.

I don't understand what's going on with Dude these days. Looks like he's been in Jamaica for like months on end. Not sure if he's being productive music-wise or anything but really all he seems to do is tweet every thought that enters his mind all day and all night long. Plus lots of Jah and reggae talk (let's hope he doesn't move in that direction for the next album). Plus the obligatory selfies of him posing with gorgeous young women. I'm generally a "whatever gets you through the day" kind of guy but really Twitter is not the right medium for Evan. At one point he was live tweeting chasing some random stranger around the streets of Soho. The guy was literally really scared. I'm not jumping on the "He's on a downward spiral" train here but life does appear to be a bit aimless for the man these days.

Rest assured, He's not on a downward spiral. Quite the opposite. He's just a bit of a nut,but smart enough to stay south when it's 3 degrees here.

Too right, can't see the attraction of goofin around on the beach in the sunshine for weeks on end myself. (Typed to the accompaniment of gritted teeth).its surely got to be better than the relentless touring of recent years.

Good to hear! I think he mentioned being in Australia later this year on twitter. Hope some US dates pop up eventually. Jamaica appears to be a good fit-hope his downtime continues to go well.

in all fairness to the Dando it is hard to know what to expect from him whether he is three sheets or sober as a judge. i have tended to notice, though, that the bad shows seem to crop up more often in the US (not excepting that howler in Italy a few years back), whereas the UK shows are generally a better experience. I think Evan said something in a recent interview about how he doesn't enjoy playing in the States, although it wasn't clear to me why that was. I've mostly enjoyed the shows i've been to over the years but i have been to a few where he just doesn't engage at all with the audience and those are always a somewhat less fulfilling experience.

To be honest, much as I love the guy (would I be a member here otherwise?!) I wish he'd just start considering his fans and DO SOMETHING! If I did my job the same way he did his I'd have spent the last few years penniless... And homeless. COME ON EVAN!

It's hard to believe The Lemonheads album came out 8 years ago next fall. Time really flies. And that album really didn't have a bad track on it. Absolutely solid.

It seems like just yesterday I got it and listened to it so much at work that people I worked with started singing along as they were passing by... hehe.

Come on, Ev!

Wow 8 years already!! I still remember buying that album and the loser in the record store gave me a lecture about how Bon Jovi was far superior to Dando.
